1. Chinese culture has long said: You can't rely on gods
In China, we grow up hearing a line:
"There has never been a savior, nor gods or emperors to rely on."
Our mythology never teaches you to kneel and wait. Nezha defies heaven. Sun Wukong rebels against the celestial order. Yu the Great didn’t pray away the flood-he moved earth and rock.



The gods in our stories aren’t perfect or benevolent. They’re flawed, emotional, and selfish. You don’t depend on them. You fight your own way.
That’s just the intro. The real question is: why, in today’s America-and much of the West-do people still wait for a savior when things fall apart?
