Policing in America has always been on how it was designed and developed, to control specifically Black people. Ever since, it has become more oppressive and intrusive toward that purpose and intent. This is only what has built American policing to what we see today and everybody partakes in that iniquitous.

Went to China to find the truth…friendly happy very hard working people. Police armed with a notebook and a traffic flag , neighborhood representatives everywhere , they receive your complaints and promptly act on them. What’s the matter with these people…so normal, a civilization to be admired.
Yes, sense the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989 China has seemingly done a good job of pacifying the masses, give or take the ongoing suppression of religious freedom and the disappearance of people who’s wealth and popularity are deemed a threat to the communist overlords.
Your well reasoned argument may be lost on many mainstream liberals. The law and order crowd will weaponize it (and has done so) to increase bloated police budgets even more at the expense of measures that would be far more effective at reducing crime by preventing it: Namely housing, food security, water and clean environment. I hope you agree that the latter spending priorities are bigger drivers behind China's success than policing.
