I can’t post photos, but I saw this coming for YEARS.

I’ve spent 10 years planting a permaculture food garden on my 1/2 acre property.

Sheet mulch away your lawn and PLANT FOOD

You WILL NEED IT

That’s simply not an option for many people in Epstein States of America.

Farmers AGAINST trump.'s avatar

I’m a farmer / rancher (wife) and we never voted for trump , EVER. We knew who he was in the 80’s. 🙄

I talk to farmers and it’s the corporate farms that’s voting for this , yes some dirt farmers like us but I’m seeing a change. These people like Scott Bessent come in and buy up land that the farmer can no longer afford but has paid for 10 times over in taxes. Then they get the farmer bailouts. We don’t. The corporate farms get the checks.

Farmers want free trade. Period.

USAID benefits everyone. The farmers here benefit and feeding places in the world that need it and creating a bond with those countries. Not to mention helping keep diseases down.

I have a small home garden in raised beds in my back yard. I was going to try to get some soil for a small section of my front yard just to have more room to plant more food. Even home gardening bags of soil are more expensive this year! Since I just lost my job, I may just have to get out there and see what I can do. I can’t go buy a lot of soil or fancy mixes to try to get good results. This is only my 2nd year of growing food and it’s really working!

I also had a compost tank just for red wigglers, the worm tea, great fertilizer.

Ultimately will lead to starvation.

These “leaders” are not Christian, following Jesus’ teachings, or committed to taking care of American citizens.

Soil Scientist 👋 What needs to be mentioned here is that these farmers had plenty of opportunities in the last decade to switch to Regenerative farming. A fully regenerative sustainable farm doesn’t require agrochemicals or petrochemical fertilizers.

They use companion plants and crop-specific-composted-fertilizers. They’re based on what each crop thrives on which is a specific balance of Nitrogen, Potassium, & Phosphorus and what nearby “helper” plants give in nutrients or help balance their pH.

The NPO I worked at had a very large grant to help farmers switch to regenerative farming. Less than 5% of farmers took our help.

Sadly. Many of these farmers did this to themselves.

Yes! In my tiny garden, I learned so much last year about companion plants! This year I’m really trying to be even more successful. I have no idea when I’ll get a job again and money is running out fast and food prices are outrageous !-
