This is the best comparison of how complex governments are built in different countries I’ve ever heard. I never thought China would become the far superior system to the United States 👏👏🇨🇦

You're too young to have lived under more substantial U.S. presidents. The circus of the last 25 years isn't indicative of what Democracy can accomplish, more likely the peaking and subsiding of empire. However, not to diminish China's great accomplishments and we could learn some things from your meritocracy.

Xi did all the same things Trump is doing right now, how is that a "great leader"

Anti-corruption campaign: He initiated a far-reaching anti-corruption campaign that proved popular with the public but also served as a tool to eliminate political rivals.

Military consolidation: He implemented sweeping reforms of the military, ousting generals and replacing them with loyalists.

Abolition of term limits: In 2018, the constitution was amended to abolish presidential term limits, clearing the way for Xi to potentially rule indefinitely.

Elevation of status: His ideology, known as "Xi Jinping Thought," was written into the party and state constitutions, and he was officially declared the "core" leader of the party, a designation previously used only for Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping.

Securing a third term: In October 2022, Xi secured a precedent-breaking third term as General Secretary, further cementing his status as China's most powerful leader since Mao.

Your analyses are always educational and I love the “grumpy” tone too. However, you consistently emphasize the drawbacks of the American system and the benefits of the Chinese system. I get it that you are myth busting. Great. But your analyses would carry more weight if you compared apples to apples: the problems with the USA versus the problems of China, for example.

This was very eye opening. It certainly opens one's eyes to what a clown show we have been in this country. It is obvious that it has been getting worse over time.

Does China have a school dedicated to governance, where people go to learn the systems and and procedures? The Ottomans had one and I believe the Japanese did, at one point.

If young people are interested in governance, if they perform well, they can apply or be invited to the Party School of the CPC. Usually every college has this kind of organization. From there you will learn everything, of course, most knowledge there are basic, but, enough for them to get a government job.
