Piker crosses two Democratic Party and corporate media red lines—he opposes Israeli genocide and defends China. The Party defines itself as "pragmatic" and "moderate," meaning it believes in nothing except defending the capitalist policies of war abroad and austerity at home. Their support for genocide and cover-up of Epstein reveal their irreparable moral corruption. They oppose Trump's rhetoric but support his wars and budget. To sucker in voters, they are deliberately politically amorphous—watch Newsome's and Booker's verbal pratfalls as they answer pointed questions on Israel. No Kings, created by former Party Congressional staffers, avoided the Palestinian and immigrants' rights movements to create events without organization. The Biden Justice Department could have investigated, tried, and jailed Trump for interfering with the 2020 election in Georgia, an open-and-shut case, but didn't, out of ruling-class solidarity—no precedent for jailing a former President—and the mistaken belief that he would be a useful idiot for the 2024 election. Most dangerous—they support a digital ID, a setup for government surveillance of electronic communication, banking, and social media, and a techno-dictatorship.

Once again Bruce, you summarized this pretty well!

You know, when they challenge Hasan Piker, they never really go after his working-class arguments. They always go after his Twitch streamer style, the inflammatory rants, which sometimes he did, and honestly that’s kind of inevitable for a online personal. They try to use those moments, those comments, to cancel him, which is stupid.
