What Trump is doing right now is setting a precedent. Future presidents now know exactly how far they can push the boundaries. The authoritarian tactics are normalized here.
If someone like JD Vance becomes president, and that means Project 2025 actually comes to life, the system could be pushed to an extreme. There will definitely a breaking point. The question is when and what. i dont know.. but from I learned from Chinese internet, the China hawk think tanks would consider the people who are fanning hatred between Democrats and Republicans are the "good guys", the people who call for unification or working class unite are the "bad guys" . so I assume, the only way to fix this is for the unified working class people vote for someone who actually represents the people..
