The American gov’t has shelled out billions of dollars over the decades propping up corporations thru subsidies. Amazon alone was subsidized for 12+ years. Every car Musk sold he received $7k refund from gov’t. So the republicans AND Dems supported large corporations on one end while squeezing the American public on the other. You know simple things like infrastructure, health care and school lunches. We were fed the line that they couldn’t go over budget, not enough money. Yeah sure. They aren’t having any problem now with an approaching $50T debt and probable bankruptcy.
